Тoday, the demand for future specialists is growing day by day. After all, the
development of society requires improvement in accordance with the requirements of global
development. Competition and career achievement have become important indicators of human
nature. At the same time, a person's finding his place in society and the corresponding way of life
will be one of the conditions for his sustainable development. Therefore, the choice of today's youth
of a future profession will be determined not only by their life values, but also by their life needs.
The main purpose of this article is to identify factors influencing the choice of profession by
modern youth. Therefore, the content of the article analyzes the traditional views of Kazakhstani
society and the content of published works related to the choice of profession, and compares today's
views and methods of choosing a profession. The questioning of university students makes it
possible to identify and formulate the factors that influence the choice of a profession by today's
youth. The factors that influenced the diversity of respondents' responses, the reasons for the
multiplicity of views, the authors try to explain and justify in connection with the needs of modern
society and everyday life.
The research results are summarized using diagrams and the main ideas are expressed. At the
end of the article, valuable suggestions are given that are considered effective when choosing a
future profession.
