Editorial policy of the journal

The editorial board of the journal is guided by the principles of professionalism, objectivity, scientific character, and impartiality, and assumes ethical obligations to the authors to prepare a scientific publication and disseminate research results.

The interaction of the editorial board with the authors is based on the principles of transparency, honesty, courtesy, fairness and objectivity.

Manuscripts undergo preparation for publication.

At the same time, the copyright is preserved in accordance with the legislation and regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Scientific articles accepted to the journal are subject to mandatory double-blind peer review by scientific experts specializing in this scientific field.

The editorial board communicates with the authors of articles and reviewers via the OJS electronic platform (online) and, if necessary, by e-mail.

The scientific publication is published in accordance with the requirements (http://adilet.zan.kz/), submitted for inclusion in the" List of publications recommended for publishing the results of scientific activity " of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The scientific publication complies with the relevant requirements imposed by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for inclusion in the “List of publications recommended for publishing the results of scientific activity” (http://adilet.zan.kz/).

Requirements for the manuscript

The journal accepts articles in Kazakh, Turkish, Russian and English that have not been previously published by the author (s), that correspond to the journal's thematic areas and are designed in strict accordance with the requirements of the manuscript.

The manuscript of the scientific article is submitted by the corresponding author to the editorial board at least two months before the publication of the next issue of the journal. Manuscripts of at least 10 pages are accepted for publication in the journal.

The manuscript must be sent by the author via an electronic platform, indicating all the metadata and its authors.

The authors must submit to the editorial board the original of the article, which has not been previously published in other publications (in print, electronic and other open sources). The authors are responsible for the reliability, novelty and evidence-based nature of the research results. The original text of the article must be at least 75%. The authors undertake not to offer this manuscript for publication in another publication, if the manuscript is under review, as well as after publication.

The scientific publication must meet the requirements set by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for inclusion in the “List of publications recommended for publishing the results of scientific activity”.

Copying of texts and plagiarism – editors are obliged to make specific decisions about the possibility (or impossibility) of publishing a scientific article only within the framework of the law concerning ethical standards and copyright. At the same time, they have the right to be guided by the journal's policy.

Editors are required to pay special attention to the plagiarism of the text, the information contained in it. If the article was published earlier or its plagiarism was discovered, it has the right not to publish the material. Editors have the right to independently evaluate the scientific content of manuscripts, taking into account the current legislation, regardless of information about political and religious views, personal data of the author.

The manuscript, the authenticity of which, according to the results of verification through the antiplagiat system, exceeds 75%, is sent to the reviewers for further review.

Type and procedure of reviewing the article

All scientific articles submitted to the editorial office of the journal must pass a double “blind” examination (the reviewer does not know the authors of the manuscript, the authors of the manuscript do not know the reviewers).

1. Review of articles is carried out by reviewers – leading experts in the field of education and science of the relevant internal and external/foreign universities. The decision to choose a specific reviewer for the analysis of the article is made by the editors. The review period is 2-4 weeks, but can be extended at the request of the reviewer.
2. Each reviewer has the right to refuse an expert review in the event of a clear conflict of interest affecting the acceptance of the manuscript materials. Based on the results of the review of the manuscript, the reviewer makes recommendations regarding the publication of the article: it is suitable for publication; it is not suitable for publication; it can be published after making corrections and additions.
3. If the review contains suggestions for editing and correcting the article, the editorial board sends the author the text of the review with a proposal to take them into account when preparing a new version of the article. The deadline for correcting the article should not exceed 1 month from the date of sending the authors a notification of the need for changes by e-mail. The article edited by the author is sent for re-review.
4. If one reviewer decides "not suitable for publication", the editorial board has the right to send the manuscript for additional review. The final decision is determined after the review of the third reviewer.
5. The decision to refuse to publish the manuscript is made at the meeting of the editorial board in accordance with the recommendations of the reviewers. An article that is not recommended for publication by the decision of the editorial board is not accepted for revision. The decision to refuse publication is sent to the author by e-mail.
6. The original reviews are kept in the editorial office of the magazine for 3 years.
