Cognitive Foundations of New Usages in Modern Kazakh and Turkish Languages

The article analyzes the cognitive mechanisms underlying innovative usages in contemporary Kazakh and Turkish languages. The main focus is on examining the cognitive foundations of newly formed word combinations and identifying the specific features of how new terms and concepts are perceived and adapted in these languages. The aim of the study is to determine the influence of cognitive and cultural factors on the interpretation and assimilation of new lexical units in Turkic languages. Cognitive aspects include modes of thinking, processes of conceptualization, and information categorization that shape the perception of novelty. Cultural aspects reflect the connection to historical traditions, national identity, and social values that affect the acceptance of borrowed lexemes.
The relevance of the study is driven by the growing interest in language transformations caused by external influences. In the context of globalization and digitalization, there is an increasing need for language flexibility while preserving cultural uniqueness. It is essential to understand how modern Kazakh and Turkish languages respond to these challenges, how borrowed lexemes are integrated, and what cognitive strategies are employed in the process. This research is particularly timely given the backdrop of rapid technological and cultural development, which drives significant linguistic changes.
The findings may be of interest to linguists, ethnographers, cultural studies scholars, as well as institutions and organizations involved in language preservation and development. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors influencing the
