ACTIVITY AND ROLE OF ABULKHAIR KHAN IN RELATIONS WITH NEIGHBORING NATIONS

Abstract

The article provides an objective assessment of the factors determining the life path and formation of Abulkhair Khan as a major statesman, a phenomenon of personality as a politician, ruler.
The internal political and international situation of the Kazakh Khanate at the beginning of the XIII century, the causes of its economic and political crisis are analyzed, it is established that the unification of the Kazakh zhuzes by Abulkhair Khan, the organization of the fight against the invasion of invaders, his real social position among the Kazakhs fully corresponds to his official title of "senior khan".
The article considers the state activity of the Kazakhs of the XIII century on the development of comprehensive relations with Russia, the establishment of diplomatic and economic relations with neighboring Central Asian states. At the same time, the level of relations with the Kalmyk and Bashkir peoples, positions, and main priorities of Abulkhair Khan in their development and exacerbation of contradictions are being studied. The role of Khan Abulkhair as the "khan of the Karakalpaks" will be determined, as well as the role of the Karakalpaks in political relations with Russia. The manifestation of all personal qualities and capabilities inherent in the rulers of Abulkhair directly depends on these peoples.
Abulkhair Khan sought to ensure a calm, peaceful life for his people, promoting the national interests of the Kazakhs as a whole. His political and strategic choice clearly shows how important it is for any major politician and statesman to be able to use his position in a difficult international political situation, pursue constructive geopolitics and find allies.
