The article aims to comprehensively study the historical and psychological image of Alikhan Bokeikhan the leader of the national liberation movement, a prominent statesman and public figure who left a profound mark on the political and spiritual life of the Kazakh people at the beginning of the twentieth century. The study thoroughly analyzes his moral qualities, political principles, worldview orientations, and historical role in shaping national consciousness and statehood ideas. Alikhan Bokeikhan’s leadership abilities, spiritual resilience, wisdom, and determination are examined in relation to the socio-political events of early twentieth-century Kazakh society, revealing the psychological dimensions of his sense of responsibility and his spirit of struggle for the fate of the nation. His public and political activity, personal characteristics, and principles are analyzed based on historical sources, contemporaries’ memoirs, and scholarly works. Particular attention is paid to his contribution to the formation of the national spirit and to his service for the independence and unity of the Kazakh people. In addition, the works of foreign researchers are reviewed, highlighting Bokeikhan’s portrayal as an intellectual symbol of his era, a herald of democratic thought, an enlightener who awakened national self-consciousness, and a humanist of high culture and moral integrity.
