THE ACTIVITIES OF TURAR RYSKULOV AND THE MUSULMAN BUREAU OF THE TURKESTAN REGION

The article describes the activities of the famous statesman and politician Turar Ryskulov as the head of the Turkestan Muslim Bureau. It is written on the basis of archival documents, periodicals, as well as the works of T. Ryskulov. The article objectively and truthfully describes the political events that took place in Turkestan in 1919-1920. The socio-political activity of T. Ryskulov as a national communist is analyzed by specific archival data. The secret of the reasons and consequences of his participation in a heated political discussion with the heads of the emissary bodies of the Center for the benefit of local peoples during the establishment and strengthening of communist power in the Republic of Turkestan is revealed. At the same time, an analysis is made of the negative attitude of the Soviet authorities to their political statements about the creation of the Turkish Communist Party, the naming of the region as the "Turkish Soviet republic within the RSFSR".
