Using Blended Learning Technologies through Online Educational Platforms

Since 2020, in the context of a global pandemic, due to the fact that educational institutions were forced to close for quarantine and study online, today we have come to a blended learning that integrates online and traditional learning. Therefore, the article discusses the models and principles of blended learning, as well as the possibilities of its application through online educational platforms. Within the framework of online educational platforms, the possibilities of using the «flipped Classroom» model of blended learning technology through the Microsoft Teams platform are revealed. When using the platform, it is important to think through each of its elements correctly, make it accessible and interesting for the student. At the same time, online educational platforms play a huge role. In conditions of blended learning, teachers' mastery of methods and techniques of designing the educational process at the subject level, their mastery of work on online platforms is a modern requirement. This was also observed according to the results of a survey of students conducted in order to study opinions related to the use of blended learning technology. The model of blended learning «flipped class» was used to prepare students of 11th grades in computer science in English at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Shymkent for the final external exam through the Microsoft Teams platform. The results of the formative assessment of students were processed, as a result of which the effectiveness of the combined learning technology was justified. Thus, as a result of the study, it was concluded that the use of blended learning technology in education improves self-education skills and responsibility of students, which in turn improves the quality of knowledge.
