Folk medicine, being the most important component of folk culture, allows not only to identify folk knowledge, but also to reveal the ethnic specifics of the people, the specifics of their culture. The appeal to the study of certain aspects of folk culture and folk medicine, in particular, in modern conditions, is explained by the fact that in recent years there has been a revival of national consciousness, there is a need to study lost cultural values. A special interest in folk medicine as part of traditional household culture is due to the need to expand knowledge about traditional forms of life of different ethnic groups at different stages of modern human development.
